DegenRide is a free motorcycle game where the terrain is generated from real cryptocurrency price charts. This policy explains what data the game handles when you play. The short version: no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and almost everything lives only on your device.
What stays on your device
- Game settings (audio mix), progression (XP/levels), best runs and ghost replays.
- Cached price charts, so the game works offline.
- A randomly generated, pseudonymous device ID used for leaderboards.
None of this leaves your device except as described below.
What is sent to our servers
If you play ranked modes (Score Attack / Time Trials), your runs are submitted to the DegenRide leaderboard backend (api.degenride.app, hosted on Cloudflare). A submission contains:
- your pseudonymous device ID and chosen nickname,
- the score or finish time and the track it was set on,
- a replay of the run (used for anti-cheat verification and ghost races),
- your public Solana wallet address, only if you choose to connect a wallet.
This data is used solely to operate the public leaderboards. It is never sold or shared with third parties.
Third-party services
- GeckoTerminal and Binance public APIs: the game downloads token price history to build tracks. These requests carry no personal data beyond what any HTTPS request reveals (IP address, device type).
- Solana RPC (via api.degenride.app), only on Seeker, only after you connect a wallet: reads your public token holdings so you can ride your own bag. Read-only; the game never initiates transactions on its own.
Wallet
Connecting a wallet is optional and happens through the Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter. DegenRide never sees, stores, or asks for your seed phrase or private keys. Your public address may be shown on leaderboards next to your scores.
Children
DegenRide does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game collects no personal information requiring parental consent.
